Venues in Florida for 100 people less than $8000

Jazzmyn , on January 20, 2016 at 10:43 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

I would prefer to go no further than Winter Park and Clearwater FL. I am not into beach weddings more historic looking. I would like to have the ceremony and reception all in one place, open bar and dinner included for an estimate of 100 people. Any venues suggestions would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!!!

Casa Feliz and Rollins College chapel in Winter Park are both gorgeous historic buildings. And the Casa Feliz director is really involved in historic preservation all over Central FL, she'd be a great person to ask!

Hi Jazzmyn! Have you looked through the WW vendor search yet? That's the best place to find venues and read reviews from past couples! You can use the filters to narrow down your results:

This is my venue in Maitland, FL:

    http://artandhistory.org/rental-facilities-2/

Specifically, we are renting the Mayan Chapel/Courtyard. We invited 100, but about 63 are coming. Here is a pic of the area we are having our ceremony/reception in. The chapel area also comes with the courtyard rental, but it only fits 40ish. We are doing the brief ceremony and reception in the courtyard, and having the chapel area be a quieter location for chatting/drinking. It is a very reasonable venue, IMHO. For 4 hours on a Sunday, we got it for $800. We are bringing in tables, chairs, and a tent in case of rain. There are also other areas of the facility to rent. I like it because I'm an art historian; this is a national historic monument and one of the only extant examples of Mayan fantasy revival architecture.
