Hello ladies, my FH and I are super excited to get married next year but are extremely worried that we're going to have a hard time finding DJ's and other vendors because of all the weddings getting postponed this year due to COVID-19. We are just super nervous that everyone is going to be booked up already.

I would definitely recommend getting started ASAP on booking vendors if Possible.
Unfortunately that is a possibility but if you start now I’m sure you’ll have some good choices still.

I think that’ll be a problem too. I would book asap.

I would start looking ASAP. Do your research for venue, photographer, etc. and start booking your venues. You will find what you are looking for and make sure that you have an idea for what you want and how you want your wedding to be

If I was you I'd start looking asap. I got engaged last summer and decided to have a wedding in August of 2021. We took our time and we were very relaxed about planning due to the fact that we had 2 years to plan. But now that I'm looking at djs I've been getting a lot of them say they are unavailable for that date. I was a little surprised due to the fact that it's over a year away. But you got to figure you got 2021 brides as well as 2020 brides who postponed their wedding jumping at booking things for their wedding next year.

Not going to lie, we changed our date due to relocation. But we have started looking at venues for 2022 because most have said 2021 is filling up quick and as we get into the fall if anyone has to postpone then they will have no choice but to go with 2022 and I wanted a good venue.

There is nothing wrong with reserving a year in advance, especially when you’re looking for quality vendors
