2! We looked at one less expensive and one with a lot included for more money. We went with the second one because we fell in love with everything! It’s too overwhelming for me to look at too many because then I get confused

Yes 8 sounds like plenty to choose from and may just becoming overwhelming. We looked at 4 and even that was a bit much because they were all beautiful. Good luck!

It’s no so much over whelming as it is becoming confusing. I keep forgetting what venue offers what.

I looked at pictures and reviews and got prices to about 10. Saw one in person and fell in love with the coordinator and the room and signed on the spot

We looked at 8 before we finally found our venue. A couple of them were instant nopes for us, either too expensive or just didnt like the vibe the owner gave off. The ones we narrowed it down to all had a "but" with them, either parking was an issue, or they didnt have passed apps during cocktail hour, or charged extra for tablecloths and stuff. Then we looked at the one we picked. They had EVERYTHING we wanted. Ample parking, beautiful ballroom, full bar, passed apps during cocktail hour AND a late night snack to choose from, tablecloths and napkins and all that included, 3 different places for ceremony to choose from, centrally located for most friends and family, hotel on site, and more hotel options down the street near the airport for our out of town guests. It was fantastic. I cried lol. So relieved to find the perfect place. They are also known for doing weddings, it's their "thing" so we are confident it will be awesome!

Dont get discouraged if you havent found a place yet. Keep looking. You will know it when you see it! Also, dont be afraid to ask if certain things are included or if they would be willing to throw something in for you! Good luck!!

We looked at 6 local venues and then decided we going to do a destination wedding.

For our DW, we toured 12 venues in 4 days! Only met with a few wedding managers though. Mostly stopped by & quickly walked the grounds ourselves. One we drove to, hubby saw it was busy on a main road & said “nope.”

For our local reception, we toured 5 in one day I think but the very first place we accidentally found was The One! We got to the winery area early so drove around and both, “Hey, what’s that one over there?” Bingo. Perfect look, best price, nice wedding manager.

We looked at 6. 2 locally and 4 a bit further south. The one we ended up choosing I had been a little biased against picking (I had a job interview there about 10 years ago and the owner/manager was.. not very nice to me). BUT they really ticked all our boxes. And they were the only place we left actually talking about OUR wedding. How we wanted to the day to go and feel etc.

I researched about 10 but only contacted 5. I’m planning the wedding from 2,000 miles away so I’m going off of pictures. We are seeing two when we visit the area this summer!

We only looked at 1 because we were certain on where we wanted to have our wedding.

We looked at 4 in total. I hated the one I thought would be my top pick so we kept looking. We got to our venue and knew right there and put a deposit down right then and there.

We looked at 2 and chose the 2nd one! Had way more included for the price and allowed us to gain 20 more guests for less money.

I had a lot on my list but I think we only viewed 4 before finding the perfect location.

We had a list of about 6 or 7 we wanted to look at. First one was beautiful, but way out of our price range and bad highway noise where the ceremony would be. 2nd one was perfectly in budget but also had a weird outdoor ceremony space. 3rd was absolutely gorgeous, recently renovated, outdoor ceremony with separate indoor space for bad weather, huge menu and bridal suite to get ready in, and most importantly in our budget. We walked out of that venue and didn’t even get to the car before we turned around to have her hold our date. There was no cons at all for that one so we didn’t even bother looking at the others.
