Venue Response Time

I've asked four venues via weddingwire and email about their pricing and available. Three got back to me super quick (within a day). The one I'm really eyeing, however, hasn't gotten back to me yet. Should I message on Facebook too or is that going a little overboard? I'm not a patient person, so it's killing me.

    I would call them. Although they should be more on top of things, emailing and social media isn't always the best way to reach out to a vendor.

    Yeah some venues do not respond. Some I heard from one month later when I am no longer looking at that area anymore lol. I would call.

    I would just go ahead and call. Social media isn’t always the beat way to reach out / some places use it as an add on vs their more dominant way of communication

    When email doesn't work I go directly to the source. Look them up online, find a contact person and see if you can call and get somebody on the telephone. Once you tell them that you've sent an email and you've gotten no response. Most likely they will be super apologetic. And I'm sure that will get the ball rolling

    I would call - some venues either don't have someone checking their wedding wire or seem to check it sparingly. It's something most venues are good about, but sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands and call them instead. I just had a venue get back to me last week when I originally inquired three months ago.

    What I've learned is that sometimes vendors don't get the notification from WW or something of that nature. That's why most times they'll ask for your email for future communication. Check your personal email and spam inbox. I thought a vendor was ignoring me but she had responded to my personal email (she didn't let me know she was going to do this) but she did. If nothing, I'd look on their website for a phone number and just give them a call.
