Fiance and I have been looking at wedding venues for a few weeks now to get some ideas and rough estimates of what things would cost. I'm all over the place. Stuck between a beach wedding and a wedding in the snow. I'm leaning a bit more towards the snow idea now. However, I'm having so much trouble finding that perfect venue. I'm located in Northern California. Any recommendations are highly appreciated!!

Have you looked at Tahoe? You can get the best of both worlds there with the beach and the mountains.
We got married at The Landing Resort in South Lake Tahoe and it was awesome.
West Shore Cafe is also amazing just super pricey.

Take a look at eventective.com for ideas. Be aware that unless you can bring in your own catering, all inclusive food/drink minimums alone before other expenses can easily be 5+ figures.

I've seen a few venues in Tahoe, none that jumped out at me yet. But I'll look at the both of those venues. Thank you for your recommendations!

I’m in northern AZ in the White Mountains. Pine trees, mountains & snow. There are some venues up here that are gorgeous. We decided to get married in the Phoenix area as the majority of our family lives there. Just google “wedding venues in the white mountains.
