Anyone have their ceremony and/or reception in a pole barn? I've seen a ton of regular barns, but not many pole barns. Weather permitting, were doing the ceremony in the field next to it then having the reception inside with all the garage doors opened and tables in a 'U' shape to maximize space, with the dance floor in the center.

Pictures, comments, advice etc.? Trying to do as much DIY as possible since we are on a budget, but I want it to look transformed and as nice as possible.

Hi Tiffany! I love the idea of having the reception in the pole barn! Where is the venue? I found some pictures on Pinterest and attached them below for some decoration inspiration. I hope these help!

Thank you Kelly! The second picture is actually the inspiration for our setup...we're setting up the tables the same way and having the dance floor in the middle😊 My sister also has about 40 paper lanterns for me that we can hang! The venue is in Upstate NY near an American Legion that my grandparents are members of so I got a crazy good deal on it, I'm just hoping I can my my vision a reality!
