Venue not responding?

My fiancé and I finally decided we should postpone our fall wedding to next year. We emailed our venue last week and they replied very fast, but when we asked if we could get new dates for next year, they didn’t say anything. It’s been over a week now and I tried emailing them again asking for any updates but still no response. I’m not sure what to do and who to contact because this is the second person I’ve had to email regarding the venue. I just want to know what’s going on because I’m getting stressed now on what I’m going to do. Does anyone else have issues like this and what should I do?
