Can anyone please advise how common it is for a venue to request general liability insurance ? Can anyone recommend a provider?

I don’t know how common it is, but our venue also required liability insurance (up to $1 million). This was the company our coordinator recommended.

Our venue didn't require insurance. Actually neither of our venues did (minimony or the big wedding venue)

Most of the venues that we looked at required it and recommend wedsure.com

Our venue required 1 million in insurance. We used Wedsafe. Cost us $175
