Venue help! Haven't seen it in person

Camille, on August 17, 2020 at 5:24 PM Posted in California Planning 1 3

Hi everyone!!

So my brain has been going into overdrive trying to find a wedding venue for a summer 2022 wedding. We are in still debating between Ethereal Gardens in San Diego County or Darlington House in La Jolla.

The catch is though that we haven't been able to see Darlington house in person during COVID and we are back on the East Coast now! We saw Ethereal and really liked but it is kind of far out from the main downtown area. We loved Darlington house based on the video and pictures and we like that we can use their approved caterer and BYO alcohol.

Has anyone had their wedding at either place and can give me some insight to help me choose? Thanks in advance!

I do not have any experience with either places, but I did some googling and they both have amazing reviews! I personally would prefer the Ethereal Gardens. It is beautiful!

Would a FaceTime tour of Darlington House be an option with one of the venue staff members?

Like Molly, I looked them both up online. Both are pretty, but Ethereal Gardens is amazing! I absolutely love that on!

Hi Camille! Have you checked out the 360 degree virtual tour we have for Darlington House?

I also think that seeing if you can get a facetime tour from someone who works there that would be super helpful!
