Venue forgetting me?

Hey guys! So I was supposed to have a planning session with the owners of my venue, but we have had to reschedule twice due to COVID-19. We decided on a FaceTime session instead so we wouldn’t have to cancel again. However, every time it’s time for my session, I never hear anything from my venue until I reach out to them. I sent the owner a message the day before my sessions both times to see what she wanted to do. Every time I talk to her, she gives me short, one-worded replies and seems to be very uninterested. When we went for our tour of the venue and when we made the deposit, the owners seemed very professional and very involved, she said herself that wedding planning is her full time job and her whole life. But now I’m starting to feel pushed aside. And our FaceTime session was scheduled for 2pm today, it’s currently 2:20 and I have yet to hear from her. I don’t know what to do...

    Hmm if this is just a recent occurrence I’d say a lot of it has to do with their personal stress from everything going on right now. I agree they shouldn’t let that affect your time with them to plan your wedding but try to factor in they may be working through a lot of really difficult things right now do to the pandemic.

    When is your wedding? This is a super difficult time for April, May, and maybe June brides. They probably have a wedding every weekend and that’s a LOT of problems and rescheduling or cancelling to deal with. I’d be a little more patient and respectful to brides in crisis mode now. Details for your wedding months from not are not a priority and sorry if you don’t want to hear that but it’s true.
    She shouldn’t be cancelling appts with you, but give the venue some time to figure everything else out.
