Hello!! I HAVE DOOZY

the venue set up AT THE WRONG BEACH 25 MINS AWAYThey told us to get there haha we had 40 people to get there who were already gathered at the beach (the reception was 5 mins away)My aunts took care of it and the photographer and minister came to usThey had to call a different photographer and the owner of the company performed the ceremonyNo rehearsal since no bridal party!!
And now the company is threatening to withold our license and photographs cuz we filed a paypal dispute because they sent us a dissolution of buisness certificate

That’s awful, I’m so sorry you had to go through that! I would be livid! But you look stunning and I’m glad you were able to marry the one you love the most. Yes, I’d be very reluctant to pay them if they did that to me. And to ask 40 people to move to a new location is crazy. Someone dropped the ball

You may need to take them to small claims court if they are threatening to withhold the license and photography. Are they telling you they expect full payment on something they didn’t provide? Because clearly you didn’t get anything you paid for! If this is there fault they should be trying to fix the situations. Good luck,I’m sorry this happened. But in the bright side the pictures you do have look amazing.

Oh. my. lord. I am SO sorry this happened to you!! i would be going crazy! i think you are doing the right thing. It is not your fault they did the wrong location.
What exactly did the venue set up?? why did they make you travel to them if they didn't even set up how they were supposed to! ugh. this is awful. They changed everything - they shouldn't be holding anything from you. keep fighting!

They set up allegedly at a different beach 25 mins away, the officiant showed up and a photographer so we said we would pay that.

I am so sorry you had to deal with this, I mean I agree only pay for what you had and nothing else, they totally made a mistake on their end. Did you ever visit the site you decided on? I am just wondering how they could have set up at the wrong beach, did they chose the space or did you chose the space?

We did it over email as I live in Wisconsin and it was in Florida. They gave me 2 choices of beach location and my aunt had been to this one and the permit the company got was for our beach(we called the parks department!) They didnt even pay for the permit yet. I think they are a scam. Waiting for PayPal to give me my money back then I willgo to BBB and let every one know the company
What I learned was look at BBB not just fb reviews or website...they deleted all their sites!

Reception was beautiful bonfire on the beach (a little windy and dark) but food was amazing it was thru a different company. Thank you
