Venue decoration help!

I hired a Day of Coordinator to do all of that (plus clean up at the end of the night) for me.

You will want to look for a day of coordinator for this. You will be glad you did ! Otherwise you have to ask friends and family.
Decorating in general - I didn’t have any big decor items other than floral centerpieces and cake flowers ! I did order one special table cloth for the sweetheart table that was different than the rest .

I hired a wedding planner for all of that.

Yes definitely look into a day of coordinator, you’ll be so much less stressed. If you can’t, maybe come wider paring down some of the decor and try and find some family members willing to help.

Our venue is going to allow us to come and set things up 3 days prior so I will handle it myself. If that’s not an option for you, hire a day of coordinator or ask trusted friends/family. I don’t relinquish control easily haha but if you have someone you trust, I don’t see the need to spend more money on a coordinator, just ask friends/family for help.

I think it can depend...are you using the same venue for both the ceremony and the reception? Are you getting ready there? If so, you can probably get away with having friends and family set up. I'm not getting ready at the reception venue and am having my ceremony in the next town over, so I hired a day of person

I hired a day of coordinator for set up but I did not have anyone for clean up so I did that myself. However I was so tired I left a lot of things back aha. But they were all cheap anyway so I didn't care so much

Usually you hire a wedding planner they help setup and clean-up. Florists usually will setup for whatever flower decorations you've purchased from them.
