Veils are too expensive

Michelle, on April 2, 2019 at 5:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 125

The veil that I really want to go with my dress is $300 ugggggghhhhh. My dress was only a $800. It's a cathedral length veil, but I can't see myself paying that much for a thin piece of fabric. Has anyone order a veil from an online site/china Like etsy, jjs, ebay, amazon etc??

Do you know the item number? Try doing a Google search for it. I originally tried on a $495 veil from DB and I just could not buy a veil that would be half the price of my veil. But I found the same veil unused on poshmark for $80. There were other sites but that was the steal I couldn't pass up.

As others have amazing and Etsy are great places to look. You could also look at purchasing fabric and talking to your seamstress how much she would charge to make a veil if you provided the supplies. Mine is making mine for free from fabric my had

I bought a veil from Ebay, but it hasn't come in yet. But I also bought tulle, and I'm making a second veil that I might wear for the reception (or in case the Ebay one is a fail.) Tulle is cheap, and you don't need extensive sewing experience to make one.

Girl go to amazon. I ordered a rhinestone appliqué for my dress and it came back looking great! $40 with 2 day shipping compared to $200-300 belt for “bridal quality”. Not trying to bash it bad but come on.

That is insane! That’s over a third of your dress’s cost.

Look on Etsy! They get pretty pricey but you can find reasonably priced ones on there!

I made mine, so I'm not much help. But I saw a lot of reasonably priced used ones on Facebook marketplace that people used once and were in perfect condition

Girl get it from Ebay. That's where I got mine. It was like $42. The first picture is a non-pro picture from my bridal shoot. The second picture is the picture from Ebay.
