Veil length help!!

Jamie, on April 6, 2022 at 11:54 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 2 5
Hey all!!

So I’m ordering a cape veil for my wedding and I’m having a bit of trouble choosing a length because i don’t exactly know the length of my dress’ train, and google isn’t helping 😂

I have a Stella York 6745+(I’ll attach a pic of it unfitted at the end), and I don’t plan on shortening it with alterations. In terms of the veil I’ve been considering chapel or cathedral—does any one have any suggestions? Thanks so much!

It depends on the look you're going for. A chapel veil will end at about the same spot as your train. A cathedral will be more dramatic -- extending well past the train. Because of the chiffon layers on your skirt, a chapel length veil might get a little lost. If it were me, I'd probably go for the longer veil and then take it off for the reception. Gorgeous dress!
