Veil for 2nd wedding?

I'm a second time bride and I'll be 38 when we get married. I'm currently debating on if I should wear a veil. On one hand, It feels kind of silly given my situation, but on the other hand I kind of like the look of long but understated veils sort of like this one. Our theme is a mild boho-woodland theme, if that helps.

It depends on what you want. A second wedding is a wedding.
I love the veil shots, but I'm on the second wedding train and I'm not having a veil.
It's really up to you.

I'm on my 2nd and am wearing one. The dress I chose kind of looks incomplete without it. But I say rock it if you want. This is a celebration of your love regardless of if it's your first or fifth.

Traditional wedding etiquette, if you choose to follow it, considers trains, veils, and pure white dresses a symbol of youth/purity/innocence that should be reserved for first-time brides. I routinely see brides on WW make different choices for their second marriages.

So...I'm a third time bride and I echoed your thoughts about the veil as well. Ultimately, the dress I chose didn't look complete without a veil. I'm wearing one with no shame. My guests are going to be very well hosted so the least of their worries should be whats on my head!
