Veil? Birdcage? Okay to wear for 3rd wedding?

Ok, so here is my dilemma....this will be my 3rd marriage, however, technically my 1st real wedding. My first one, I eloped while in the military. My second, we just did a very small ceremony in our home with <25 of our closest family and friends. This time around, I am having a full blown wedding....DJ, Cake, Photographer....You name it. He is insisting on it. I want to look very much like the most beautiful bride that he has ever seen in his life. Is it ok if I wear a veil? Or maybe a birdcage? I don't want the kind that covers my face. Thoughts?

I hate the look of veils but if you want to wear one, go for it!

Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful and bridal! Just because it's your third marriage doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.

I agree with @JSARGE. It's never "inappropriate" to wear a veil. If you want to wear one, go for it! I ordered a veil but now that I look at it I don't like the look so will probably be wearing a birdcage. But whatever you like the best! Personally, I think a nice hair piece or birdcage.

Far as I'm concerned you can wear a cathedral veil. I think a veil makes the bridal look, and a 3rd time bride is still a bride wear whatever you want, if people have a attitude about it, they can just get over it!
