Vacation Rental?

I actually looked into this yesterday. I was on the trip adviser website looking up reviews on vacation home rentals in the Dominican Republic for our DW. You may want to check it out. Happy planning!

Our friends in CA did. Unfortunately we couldn't go because of work schedules, but the wedding looked beautiful and it seemed everybody had a great time! They also managed to do it on a reasonable budget and were really happy about it.

Happens frequently here for destination weddings!

I can honestly say I never thought of that. But it is a fabulous idea.

We rent vacation homes off VRBO.com all the time instead of booking hotels. I like having my own kitchen and a full apartment vs. a room when we travel and it's usually cheaper anyway.

Aw, I wanted to do this!! A friend of mine rented a giant home in Hawaii and had everyone stay there for a weekend and then he and she went off to their honeymoon in a hotel..

We just looked into it this morning.. Getting a beach house, Having a small wedding on the beach then the party after at the beach house.. on Craigslist, for 3 days we were still looking at $1000 for a 3 bed 3 bath in Huntington beach CA. Still more then we could afford, so we opted out. Good luck

But I am inviting a little under 100 guests, I probably couldn't get away with that. lol

The house we rented for us and all our guests to stay in the night before the wedding and the wedding night allows weddings with up to 40 guests there. We chose not to do that, because we wanted to have the wedding in a synagogue, but it was an intriguing idea.

Cousin did it in Folly Beach, South Carolina. BEAUTIFUL! and in expensive.

This is what we're doing! We get the entire house for four days and dont have to worry about time in and time out. Vbro.com just ask owners of they'll let you do a wedding- it's an extra charge but the four days is turning out to be less than what a venue charges for six hours! A lot less...

I did this in Folly Beach SC this past May and it was FANTASTIC!!!!!! We were so lucky because we found the most amazing wonderful beach house. But the search for the house was tricky.
