Using Uber Black from ceremony to reception, yes or no?

I believe you can schedule an Uber ride up to 30 days in advance for a specific day and time. So you wouldn’t just be hoping there’s an Uber available. But Uber rides won’t wait for more than 5 minutes and if you take longer than that they’ll cancel the ride and charge you a fee.

I like Uber Black. They’ve never been late for me and will definitely wait (for a fee) if you are running behind. You may want to ask around for recommendations for an Uber Black driver. A lot of people have a favorite and they may even give you a better rate than ordering directly through Uber.

I plan to do this very thing... why pay someone $100’s to take me and my girls around the corner, essentially.

This is how my FH and groomsmen are getting to the ceremony. Especially after looking at insane shuttle prices, it definitely makes the most sense. I have also scheduled ubers at very odd times (like 3 AM to go to the airport) and its been super dependable.
