Using ceremony flowers at the reception

Darcy, on July 18, 2018 at 3:53 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9

Hi ladies, was wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations for incorporating flowers from their ceremony into the reception area. Specifically, I was wondering where I can put the flowers from a ceremony arbor after the ceremony, on the tables in the reception? If you have pictures that would be great! Thanks!

I'm not sure if the arbor flowers will need to drape or lie flat, but you could use them on the cake table, head/sweetheart table, guest book table.

Or the gift table. Our venue had a welcome table right when you walk in that you can put whatever you want in. Most people put up family pics. If you have something like that they could go there.

This is tangentially related- im using the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces for our head table during the reception. It’s not like they’ll carry them around and it’ll cut down on costs somewhat.

Usually people just use them on the cake table, card table or you can decorate the head table with it.

I'm also using the girls bouquets as head table flowers.

I'd say cake table or sweetheart table or head table...

I got vases I will set up on the guest book table, card/gift table, etc. and I'll just have my DOC take the bouquets after pictures and place them in the vases through the reception area.

I'm thinking cake, sweetheart or gift table is your best bet.

I am having the flowers from my arch designed so that my wedding planner can remove them and put them on the head table during our cocktail hour. The flowers going down my aisle will also be re-purposed to be the tall arrangements on some of my tables.

When I do flowers for weddings I always suggest they use the arbor piece for the head table, especially if they are having a sweetheart table
