Used wedding dress?

Do it. Mine is pre-owned and you can't even tell besides the fact that it has buttons underneath from being bustled (can't see them normally though). I saved so much money and anyone who has seen the pics of me in it love it. Just be sure to ask questions if you are purchasing online. I got mine at a consignment store.

This dress is going to look amazing on you, Kayla!!! I say that, so long as you're comfortable in the dress, it doesn't really matter if it's used. If it doesn't bother you, then it doesn't bother me. You do you. Do you plan on keeping your dress after your wedding?

If I could have found a used dresses I would have definitely done that. As long as the dress is in good shape I would go for it!

I did the same thing! My dream dress was $2,800 new so when I found it in my size pre-owned for $600 I jumped on it! It came in the mail last week and is in amazing condition and I don't regret it one bit

If you found it used, in good condition, in your size I think you've found the holy grail. Wedding dresses are TOO expensive! If you have a chance to save money go for it. No one will ever know it's used.

I almost went this route, the store was able to exchange my dress for a smaller size so I never had to follow through- but I think this is an awesome option. I know you have found THE dress, but I loved looking at all the different options! I found a dress with the most beautiful back, on a pre-owned website, and I would have bought it in a heartbeat- haven't seen another dress like it!

Ooh! If this is the one you were considering, I would just ask for more pictures, it says it's a sample and I know sample dresses at some stores can be stretched out or torn a little bit from being tried on so often...

You did your research! But nope, that's not the one I'm considering. I actually found it on Poshmark. It's on hold for me rn while it's at the cleaners. I asked for a bunch of pictures! It was only worn once on her wedding day. I needed a size 2 so samples wouldn't work :/

So awesome you found it used! I went to try on the West because I thought that was THE dress, looked a lot better online, something about all the sequins gave me a "cheap" feel although not cheap at all! Congrats on the dress, I love that one!! I believe they have a flower girl dress just like this one if you're interested in that too.

Do it Do it Do it! I thought of it as fate as well. The girl I bought it from was my same size (she had it taken in), just two inches taller than me. It has such a long train too but she took such great care of it! No snags, stains or anything. I had even told myself a while back that I really didn't want to spend more that like $600 on a dress. She sold it for just under that! I say go for it. preownedweddingdresses and stillwhite are the main ones I've heard are good for that. Where did you find yours? I got mine from preowned

Go for it! Sounds like it was meant to be.

As long as it's in good shape I dont see an issue! However, I would check to see how much it had been altered. You might end up paying a bunch if it has been altered a lot for someone else.

Mine was used, and NotFroofy's was a sample. Especially since we needed two, I just couldn't see spending all the money for a dress we'd wear once.
