uplighting for wedding reception

ariana, on February 28, 2017 at 11:59 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 13

I am having a little trouble in trying to get uplighting for my wedding in june. i do have a dj but he does not have any uplighting. I'm looking for either a good website that allows people to rent that type of equipment for a reasonable price. if any one has any suggestions as to how many uplighting i will need, What rooms need it and where should it be placed, I dont know much about this at all. Just trying to find the easiest and the cheapest way to get this for my wedding. (looking for either online or an actual store RI, MA area)

Ask your chair/table vendor, perhaps they may have some uplighting in their inventory that you can add to your rental and can help you with how many you would need.

Does your venue offer uplighting? We got uplighting through ours and it actually ended up being $5 less per light than what our DJ was charging.

I was interested in diyuplighting.com. I'd like to hear from someone that used them!

If you haven't already, check with your venue. They may have a suggested vendor when it comes to uplighting, your venue did. A company who has worked with your venue before would also be the most knowledgeable.

Tony Ormonde Productions is my venues preferred vendor in Newport, RI. I've liked all of their other preferred vendors but haven't contacted this one.

Yes, I have used them for previous events that I have hosted. I plan to use them for my wedding as well. I have had a good experience with them.

Tierra Floral Design is my preferred company for Maryland. They are doing our uplighting and other lights for our reception. I'm really excited to see how this will turn out.

Uplights! uplighting for wedding reception 1

Rent uplights from Rent My Wedding. Affordable, free shipping both ways, and really easy to set up and choose any color you want. It really added an incredible warm glow to our pirate wedding reception in a wine cave. Highly recommend.
