At what point do I freak out and try to find a backup photographer? I signed my contract with my current photographer 6 months ago. He was very responsive at first but I haven't heard a peep from him in the last 2 months. His contract states he is to respond within 48hrs on business days and also stated he would be sending me a shot-list survey 4 weeks out. We're 12 days away and I've still not heard a thing. I emailed last week - no response. Called and left a voicemail - no response. Emailed again today - nothing. The panic is starting to set in but am also trying to be patient and not stress myself out.
Has this happened to any of you? Is he just busy and I'm being impatient or am I valid for worrying about this 12 days out from the big day? I don't want to annoy him but also...are you alive, buddy?
I've asked him to add an additional hour (which we discussed at the start and he said was doable) but he's not agreed or made any updates to our contract and our final payment is due in 5 days. Do I pay him on time even though he's not responding??
