Type of veil to compliment wedding dress

I know nothing about veils but wanted to say that your dress is absolutely gorgeous and stunning on you!


I think we have the same shield, too. It’s what my wedding colors/theme is based on lol.

I haven't tried on any unfortunately! I wanted to narrow down my ideas before doing so and cannot wait to try some on!!

I second cathedral-length veil, or chapel if you don't want a long train. Or no veil with a flower crown. Hanging, statement earings without a necklace would look good. Or studs with a delicate necklace that doesn't dangle or a choker necklace. My unsolicited opinion, lol.

Lovely dress! I think a single tier, raw edge, tulle veil maybe sweep length would be fabulous. Ethereal and flowy like your dress but not too much.

I don’t think a birdcage or short veil would be good because I think it would take the focus away from the beautiful neckline and sleeves. I think a longer chapel length veil that you put a little lower so it doesn’t go over your shoulders and compete with the sleeves. Or no veil and a flower crown!

I wouldn’t have normally chosen a long veil like that, but I can totally see you standing just as you are with that veil.

I would wear a flower crown with the fro (with lots of baby’s breath) and a plain tulle cathedral length veil.

I just looked at your dress picture again (from a PC this time and not my "tiny" phone) and I have to say, I still stand by my suggestion. (The pink one comes in many colors too)
