Two officiants - have you done it? Did it work?

Hey y'all! I have two very close friends that have become like family to my FH and I. They happen to be best friends and are both very eloquent and entertaining speakers. I would love to have both of them involved in our wedding and was hoping to ask them to co-officiate, but I am not 100% sure how this would work or if it would. Have any of you seen this or done this? I'd love to hear your experience!

We're going to have 2 officiants (my FH's parents' pastor & my uncle who is an ordained minister). Both of my brothers had 2 officiants when they got married, and it worked out really well! They had one of them do the opening scriptures/prayers, and the other do the actual marriage vows, etc.

Oh, that's a really good idea! Was there any issue combining their two styles, or did it seem to flow well?

It flowed really well! They met at the rehearsal and went through who would do what several times. My uncle was part of both of my siblings' weddings as well and has done several weddings with another person so he's used to collaborating!
