Turn Around Time on BM Dresses @DB

I plan on getting mine at DB and was told to order at least 4 months ahead so they have time for alterations.

My gown actually came in before the bridesmaid dresses. All were ordered the same day, but my dress took like 1 month and the other dresses were close to 3 months.

Oh wow... well, I suppose that makes sense since a lot more people are ordering BM dresses than gowns.. ugh... bridesmaid dresses are the biggest issue for me right now!!!

Yea i'm getting married in august and my bridal consultant at Davids is freaking out because my girls have not ordered yet, she told me that there is a possibility they may not have the same colors starting in 2011 and they need to order asap.

I'm on the same boat...I've ordered my dress but haven't ordered the bm dresses, my wedding is in April so I have no idea if they'll get here on time. but the girls dont seem to be much help...they don't seem to be in a rush to order them either..ugh

I was just a BM and ordered mine one moth prior to the wedding but i'd recommend two months.

My daughters BM's dresses came from Davids Bridal. They were ordered at different times, but all arrived within a month of order. Her wedding gown arrived in one week!

DB told us that the BM needed to order their dresses at least 4 months before the wedding because the color that I wanted (hunter green) isn't very popular and they don't cut in that color very frequently. Of course all seven dresses came in within 5 weeks.

So evidently the amount of time that you need to allow is also dependent upon the popularity of the color that you want.

It just really depends on the color, as Tinkerbell mentions. If you haven't set yours in stone yet, you might ask them which colors come in faster.

My dress was a DB BM dress in Ruby. We ordered it in early February and it arrived almost exactly a month later, so 4-5 weeks. I don't think Ruby is SUPER popular, but not unpopular either.

My BM and I ordered our dresses from DB the 2nd week in September and had them by the 2nd week in October. Their dresses are in black which they said is a very popular color, but they came in very quickly.

My girls ordered theirs by the end of March beginning of April and the last one came in the beginning of July. Most mid June.

Wy wedding dress was suppose to take 3 months. bm was to take 1.5 mnths.. both came in, in 15 days

DB told me to order my dress atleast 6 months ahead of time and BM dresses 4 months before. My dress came within 2 weeks after they said it would take 6-8 weeks.

If you need a back up I know amazon has some really nice dresses that you can get in like a week. They wont be as fancy but that is where we are getting ours and I think they look nice. Here is the link to the one we are getting.

My moh just ordered hers from db mid october and it will be here mid december

My wedding dress is also a bridesmaid dress, but a really nice one and they told me it will take 3 months to get in. I'm hoping it wont be as long but I'm not getting my hopes up.
