Congratulations on your wedding destination! Just had mine! I carried it with me I did not pack it . yes it’s a lot but atleast your fiancé can help a bit he carried my dress and his tux while I did the rest like carry on bag and hand bags

I suggest keeping it in your carryon luggage. That way you still have your dress if your checked luggage gets lost.

Also, suitcase packing bags may help protect your dress from the other things in your bag. Some fabrics and even dresses have packing/storage instructions. Maybe check with your salon or wherever you bought your dress to see if they have suggestions. As I said in the linked post, I vacuum packed my ballgown when I flew from Vienna to NYC and it was perfectly fine.

View Quoted Comment Thank you yes you can carry it with you ! I went to Nassau the Bahamas! Carry it don’t fold your wedding dress . Once I got to the hotel I took it out the garment bag and let it hang .
