Save for sure. We are not doing anything special with transportation

Yeah we're definitely going to be saving. Probably taking an uber or something to the venue, and then taking an uber to the hotel nearby (and our kiddos will head off with MOH back to our home) in the event that we go on vacay the next day.

Save… we are staying on our venue's property all weekend but ended up renting a bus to shuttle our guests to and from the hotel and venue

Save. We really don't need anything fancy. Our wedding will end at 12:30 in the morning and the hotel is a mile away, it matters not to us.

Save. Our venue is 2 miles from the hotel so we’re just going to get a cab.

Save - Kind of a bummer, I would love some awesome thematic exit, but it just wasn't in the cards. We are spending our wedding night @ the venue, which is a nice 5 star hotel. So everyone will have left by the next day aside from a few. Plus we live locally, so we found it easy to save on money by not doing anything like that at all. So bittersweet.

    Transportation is a tricky thing.

My bridal party and I all have small cars, so trying to fit me in a large dress plus my mom (who will be visiting for the wedding) brother, and 3 bridesmaids and a flower girl into someones small car won't work. We are looking at renting a limo..and as somewhat against it as i am..we are going with a local funeral home who has offered the limo for $350 plus tip.

I feel like its a good deal..but I am also looking to see if i can rent another vehicle for cheaper rather than the limo since it would be taking us from our getting ready spot to the venue and that is about a 15 minute drive. I'm not sure spending $350 plus tip is worth a 15 to 20 minute drive.

Save. We are getting ready on our venue property and staying the night on property in a cabin. So we did not need transportation.

Save because we will either have one of our own vehicles or rent a cheap vehicle from Hertz.

Save! We had transportation for all of our guest because it was a destination wedding so we had big vans that fit 14 people. Simple and economic for us.

We drove our own vehicle. No reason to splurge.

Hi! Have you heard of Uber Events? If you still have room in your budget it might be interesting to look into this. It essentially allows you to cover uber costs for everyone that arrives or departs from your venue. We were going to use it until we realized that we have a much older crowd coming and after polling several guests it turned out they wouldn't want to go through the hassle of downloading an app, etc. If you have a younger crowd it could be something to look into!

Splurge. We originally wanted to buy guests Uber gift cards or use Uber events to help cover the costs to our venue (10 minute drive), but our crowd is a little older and we didn't want to complicate things. Ended up getting a 56 passenger bus to transport to venue and back to the hotel.
