Does anyone here having a traditional wedding? I’m from Congo (Africa) and it’s in my culture to have a traditional wedding for my honor where my future hubby have to pay for my bride price. So Technically I will be having 2 wedding

Not a traditional wedding per se but we are doing a tea ceremony in the morning with close family and serving them lunch then the normal reception at night so a 15+ hours event. I know some people spread it out to 2 different days but thats just too much to ask of our family who are flying in from other places.

Ours is about a 3 day wedding Friday is the traditional wedding where we wear our traditional attire and Saturday is the white wedding the church and receptions and Sunday is the bbq at the house with all the family members and friends
