torn between the two...

Sh, on November 28, 2012 at 3:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

Two dresses that is. My hunt for my wedding dress started last Friday and after going to two places I decided that I had found my dress at the first store. I'm supposed to go this Friday and get fitted and order my dress but now I keep thinking about a second dress that I tried on.

Its weird because once I start thinking about one dress I can't stop thinking about the other. So I'm not sure what to do. I love both of the dresses!

I think I'm in love with the second because its what I always pictured my dress to look like, but I also love it on. The first dress is not what I would have picked for myself but I loved it once it was on. I don't know what to do.

Here are some pictures. The first one is what I'm supposed to go get fitted for on Friday.

What should I do? Did anyone else feel torn between two dresses?

I love number two as long as its figure flattering on you like the girl in the picture (dresses don't always fit normal people like the models lol) number one reminds me of a modest older woman's dress. It's pretty I just think I'd go with the one with a modern touch.

The only difference I notice is the belt... which could be added to the second dress.

Do you have pictures of you in both dresses or only the one?

Damn, we got the quickness. Both dresses are beautiful and have similar styling, so I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I just like the neckline and coverlet in the second dress. I don't think the first fits like it does the model. Hers sits at her shoulder yours looks like it sits actually neckline.

Hmm lol ok now I see the difference....I like the second one because it gives you that option of taking of a piece of clothing if it gets hot. The first dress though is just as pretty! I stand by my answer of the first dress. But if you are really loving the second one, go for it, honestly just having the coverlet come off is a slight difference, overall the dresses look about the same.

Yeah the only real difference i see is that the second one can be strapless, and the second one has a more poofy skirt, but with your figure, you will look gorgeous either way!

I like both. The first dress is more modest in the clevege dept.

Try both dresses on again. Think about comfort, and also how photogenic the dress is on you. I had a tough time deciding between 2 dresses. I thought that they both looked good in the mirror, but one seemed to highlight some of the wrong curves in photographs - I think the way how the light reflected off from it.

Wow! you ladies are quick on posting! Amy I still haven't bought the dress because I wanted time to think about it, but I am ordering it on Friday.

The Reenski, the second store wouldn't let me take pictures of me in the dress Smiley sad

I tried on a dress I loved but went and tried on more at another salon. I ended up buying a dress at the second salon. After 48 hours of not being able to stop thinking about the dress at the first salon, I cancelled the dress I bought and went with the first one that I loved so much. Thankfully the salon was awesome and I didn't lose any money in the deal. Long story short...you have to do what you want. I loved both dresses...but the dress that I finally ended up in made me feel like a bride -- a beautiful, elegant, princess bride at that -- and that was the feeling I wanted. The other dress made me feel pretty, and sort of princessy and was perfect for my outdoor wedding, but wasn't what I thought of when I closed my eyes and thought about what I envisioned for myself as a bride. It is so hard to choose between two beautiful gowns. I wish I had tons of money...I would have just bought both LOL!

I only found one I loved. It was funny because i put it on and both me and my bridesmaids faces lit up. The consultant looked at us and said this must be the one. My bridesmaid almost cried and several moms that were there with their kids complimented me on it. You'll know when you find the one because you won't think about any others.

They are both very similar dresses but I like the second one more cuz of the neckline. The first one seems a bit on the modest side but that's just me...go with what you love...you don't want to regret it later.
