I would agree but also add to be open with finances as well. Finances are a large contributor to disagreements in any relationship.

I would say my top five are
1. Open, honest, and clear communication
2. Commitment to being a team
3. Agreement on financial matters
4. Quality alone time together
5. Dependibility.

View Quoted Comment I agree with this. I think the original list was missing the mark with communication - the frequency isn’t as important as honesty and clarity! I would say that FH and I have the same things on our list but also with a focus on living as Christians as best as we can

Sometimes we get embarrassed or uncomfortable and downplay the importance of something, it's human! But when we catch ourselves doing it we should address it
