Too Early to Book a Fall 2022 Wedding?

Angelica, on October 8, 2020 at 8:05 AM Posted in Planning 0 11
Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone knows if places are already booking up for Fall 2022. I know it’s 2 years away, but with most dates taken from next year due to Covid, is everything pretty much getting pushed out? Is it too early to look for venues and vendors for a wedding 2 years away?

No because not only COVID but some venues are so popular they book far out. I think having photographers and venue in place early is never a bad thing. I am also type A so I feel having a lot of things booked early just makes the work easier ha ha.

I don’t think it’s too early at all. If you have some venues in mind I would go look at them. This gives your first choice of some of them since you are able to plan further out. It also gives you a good idea of costs way in advance.

I don't think it's too early. I think some 2021 brides may end up postponing as well so not a bad idea to get on it!

Start looking now! We booked our wedding 2 years ahead and had our pick of dates. And let me tell you...time flies. We booked our venue in January of this year and we are already approaching our year mark and I’m relieved we didn’t wait too long, especially with the covid stuff. It’s good to feel like you are ahead, plus it can help you with your budget because the payments are spaced out more.

Popular dates can book 3 or more years out, especially at popular venues, so I think now is an appropriate time to start looking for Fall 2022.

I don’t think it’s too early especially when you think of everyone who has postponed their wedding or was looking to get married but are thinking of waiting later due to the state of the world- I for one know a few friends looking at 2022

I don't think it's too early at all! With COVID and people postponing to even 2023, that can definitely make venues run out of dates quickly. Not to mention that the Fall season is when most couples get married too, so I would go ahead and at least look at venues and if you find the one you know you want, book it!

Hi sweetie go ahead and book there is a chance you can get 2020 prices, I have had my venue booked since July for April 2022. It seems like a long ways away but it will be here sooner than you know it, best wishes on your wedding

I think you're just in time given the current state of the world.
