To simple for Rusitc Wedding?

Jackie, on December 9, 2019 at 11:29 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

We are getting married in November (hopefully outside) in a ceremony area at the venue with string lights, surrounded by trees and with wooden benches for guests to sit for the ceremony. Would this decor be too simple for the reception and cocktail areas?tablesTo simple for Rusitc Wedding? 1around reception areaTo simple for Rusitc Wedding? 2

I'm also a November bride and will be getting married outdoors! I'm going simple too and doing something similar except with pinecones and evergreen tree branches (getting married in Colorado in the Rocky Mountain National Forest). I think your decor inspo is beautiful and elegant!

I'm a November bride! We are also having our ceremony outside (Nov 14th) lake front. We are going between candles or lanterns to give a romantic feel. I think honestly it comes down to what you like! If you show something like this to your florist and your venue space they may be able to adjust if you're wanting more or less too! Our florist was very helpful once she saw our space and knew what we were going for!

I think they're beautiful. Sometimes simpler is better.

I don't think they're too simple! Less is more, and I think those would look great for a rustic theme

That is the great thing about outside events!!! The surroundings provide quite a bit of beauty. So a simple table is almost preferable. Make sure to find out the candle policy at your venue though, and beware of wind. Not one of my candles on tables stayed lit and I had the same kind of holders and candles shown here.

Just the ceremony is outside and maybe cocktail hour. The reception is in the ballroom at our venue. Thanks for the info about the candel policy. I'll have to look into that.

I think it's beautiful. I love centerpieces that are smaller scale. I personally do not like the look of a tall centerpiece that blocks once half of the table from the other so it makes it harder to talk to each other. I plan on doing something similar to the photos you posted.

No way, it is stunning! I picture your reception looking like a fairy land!
