We live in the Atlanta area so all of those things are super costly especially the venue 😩! So i feel like this is the favor lol but i really have no idea what to really do! Because i don’t want to be rude but we also don’t want to add more cost. Are Favors Mandatory??? And if you have any ideas for a not so costly favor??

Since ur doing the open bar... why dont u pick a signature drink.. maybe something that can be made with or without alcohol.. & ask everyone to try 1 as a thank u for coming to the wedding..
Or maybe simply have an announcement made like the bride & groom welcome everyone to have a drink as a Thank u for coming to the wedding...
    Just an idea....

True! Today's wedding is about the guest experience (especially good food & drinks). And my gosh, some venues are crazy expensive. Not to worry, no guest will say, "Wow, what a gorgeous wedding, top-notch food and drinks but whoa...where the heck is my free drink koozie??!!!!"

    Smiley xd

We are going thru a local company that will give us a deep family discount.

I think we are going to skip favors! We can put more money towards food and alcohol. Honestly I have been to so many weddings where the servers have removed the favors while people are dancing or they are left on the table. I mean who really wants a coaster with your names and date on it? It is going to go in someone’s trash. Just my two cents on favors 🤣

I went through this same dilemma and decided on a small "smores" favor. I made the 2" circle cards with a cute note, bought bags and my girls are making the smores and putting them together with ribbons.....cheap and easy, but something to give each person.

We arent doing any favors it's way to expensive and everyone just throws them away.
If you really wanted to you could put like Hershey kisses in a bag or mints or something in expensive like that

They aren't really necessary unless you want to have them. I've been to many weddings where they're left behind anyway.. I'm probably not having them. I'd rather use the money on other things like food and drinks. If I do have them they'll be edible

I did a Facebook poll with my friends and everyone was on board with NO favors. They said it's not necessary and most people leave them behind. I spend the money on extra entertainment instead. I think everyone has enough can koozies and shot glasses.

We have a photo booth so that's our favor..we like you have unlimited food, drinks and fun and our paying for it ourselves but we wanted to do something special so we felt like those would be a nice keepsake

Favors are a choice. The way I see it, open bar is favor enough! LBVS We are not having open bar. My FH says people just want to come for the food and drinks and then waste it because it was free. We are do a favor but something small that wasn't too costly. But the decision is up to you on whether to have them or not. I went to a wedding and some people left the favor at the table. Don't spend unnecessary money if you don't have to. Congrats!
