Tis the season for christmas Weddings!

I love ❤️ looking at Christmas 🎄 weddings!

These posts lately have made me so excited for our wedding next month! 😄😄😄😄
We're not having a Christmas themed wedding but the venue is decorated for it and winter decor looks splendid with what we're doing. Greenery, lots of pretty lights and candles and a cozy, romantic vibe.

The last image actually reminds me a lot of our venue with the open ceiling so you can see the sky!

I’ve definitely posted before but I can’t help but show it off! I hope it comes together as planned!

Yay for Christmas weddings! We got married December 23rd last year and our colors were burgundy and gold with plaid accents. My BMs wore any long, burgundy dress they wanted. My flower girls wore custom made ballerina outfits and carried lanterns with berries and greenery. My florist made our flower crowns with roses, berries and greenery and used that same floral scheme in the bouquets. We draped the pews for the ceremony with garlands and then used those same garlands as our reception centerpieces. A violinist performed Silent Night for the parents and the guys and a cellist performed O Holy Night during the reverse unity candle ceremony. My DH loves to watch Rudolph every Christmas so I used vintage reindeer I found on Etsy as our cake topper and then used reindeer throughout the decor. Our cake was very Christmasy with it being a gingerbread sponge cake with eggnog buttercream icing and fresh berries. We had a huge Christmas tree at the reception where we hung personalized ornaments that served as their escort card and favor and a candy bar with red, white, and red/white candy. We also had large wreaths around the venue and small tabletop Christmas trees. I gave my BMs Victoria's Secret Christmas Pjs and faux fur wraps to wear for outdoor pics. We had a 9-piece band that played Christmas music interspersed with the rest of the music. We also had a hot chocolate and cider bar and a fire pit with chairs outside where we added pillows with reindeer and blankets people could keep. We had smores and grilled cheese sandwiches as late night snacks. Our last dance of the night was Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and the weekend ended with a farewell brunch the morning after the wedding on Christmas Eve.

My wedding is 8 days before Christmas this year(12/16) !! although its not Christmas theme we are incorporating Christmas colors (burgundy/gold/ and greenery). Ill attach some mock photos below. The faux flowers will be replaced with real flowers and table table garland on wedding day. Im so excited to see it all come together.
