Tip the day of venue coordinator

Did you ask her if a tip was included or did she bring it up with you? If the latter I’d be extremely put off she was mentioning this. I don’t typically think of coordinators as a tipped position.

A tip is given after the event (the next day or when you get back from the honeymoon and can objectively assess their performance) only for going above and beyond the call of duty. No one should ever expect or demand a tip, and you don’t give them for no shows, bad service, or just showing up to work. Even if they own their own business and they went above and beyond for you, feel free to give them one as well after the wedding.


The amount is whatever you feel they earned. There is no magic number

Hi Danielle! If you want to tip your wedding planner, a gratuity of 10 to 20 percent is always appreciated!! If their services aren't separate from your venue bill at all, then I'd probably tip $100 to $200!
