Times for my wedding!

Have you asked your photographer and DJ? The DJ was really helpful in setting up our reception timeline, and the photographer was able to give us estimates for how long photos would take.

My photographer is my SIL and this is her first time doing wedding photos so she isn’t to sure on how long it’ll take but I’m sure we will make it work we’ll be taking pics before the wedding (45 min) and during cocktail hour (30 min)

View Quoted Comment I would honestly budget at least an hour to an hour and a half before the wedding for photos. You always want overestimate rather than underestimate because things always get delayed. Someone you need disappears, or an emergency pops up you need help with, etc.

Hi Ashley, here are a few suggestions:
I was told to allocate 15 minutes per 100 guests to find their seats. If you want sunset photos, find sunset time to allocate in your timeline. If you are having toasts, cake cutting, etc. to add these in. Below is a draft if I were in your shoes. Hope this helps ❤️
