I prefer the look of a bow tie, but my FH wanted a regular tie.

FH wants to wear a bow tie and have GM wear a matching tie! He’s so picky though, he needs it to be a bow tie he ties himself, not a ready to use bow tie 😂

Leaning more towards a mixture of both, our groomsman may not wear any tie. My son and my fiance will have a tie on .

Pretty sure we’re going with no tie. Unless I can find a regular tie in our wedding color. No jackets or tuxes, so no bow tie.

I think that timeless look of tux and bowtie makes them look sooo handsome. Can't wait to see my FH in it. 29 more days to go.

Purple- vivid, jewel tone purple. (Think Mardi Gras purple.)
Not sure I’ll have any luck finding ties that color.

Oooh that's so unique! Smiley heart Very true, that's a tough color for ties. Are you incorporating this color in your decor in other ways then? Smiley smile

As much as I can. I’m hoping for flowers close to that color, my MOH’s dress is that color, and I’m hoping to find other ways to incorporate it. Maybe in the centerpieces.

That's great! Smiley smile You could try Etsy, Amazon, or DIYing something to further incorporate this unique color into decor, too. Like with vases, votives, signage, etc. Smiley smile

In addition, I bet printing services could try to match this color for you in your save the dates & invitations, too.

Bow tie for the groom and ring bearer and regular ties for the GMs.

I don’t like the idea of no tie..to me it seems too laid back. Between ties and bow ties I lean more towards bow tie..to me it says casual and formal at the same time. But I’d have to see how it looks outfit wise on my FH before making a final decision
