Those of you who did boudoir shoots

Did you share any of the tamer photos? I love my photographers work and it’s a shame I “can’t” show any of it off, though there are a couple of very tame ones. These photos I wouldn’t mind at all if a stranger saw them which is funny because I care a bit more of how others see me personally cuz I’ve always been known to have a squeaky clean image. They’ll probably be like “lil innocent her took that?”

Below is a more tame photo I would say. I only blacked out my face cuz my husband hasn’t seen the pics yet and it’s a surprise.

It’s totally up to you whether or not you share the photos. It also probably will depend where you share it to. For example probably shouldn’t share it anywhere your family members would see it but sharing it with friends could be okay as long as you’re careful.

This is a super personal thing. For me personally, I probably wouldn't share/make available any photos of me in lingerie, but I think it's up to each person how they handle this. I am assuming that there weren't any non-boudoir photos taken during the boudoir shoot - otherwise, I would suggest sharing those (since you would be fully-dressed, and you could still share the wonderful work your photographer did). Perhaps I'm reading between the lines too much, but it sounds like you're on the fence / uncertain enough to ask the WW community, but still want to have some kind of middle-ground solution. So I'll throw out a middle-ground idea! Ok so this idea would involve spending more money, BUT it sounds like you really enjoyed the boudoir shoot experience. What if you did another photo shoot with the same photographer, and you wore regular clothes (perhaps a bit on the sexier side even)? I guess this might be called a lifestyle or portrait shoot...I'm not too sure with the terminology. This would give you another opportunity to have a photo shoot, and you could bring outfits with you that you're 1,000% comfortable sharing photos of, since you now know you love the photographer's work and would love to share pics! So, anyway, just throwing out that idea so you can still share pics and not worry one bit about the less-than-fully-clothed aspect!

I haven't taken boudoir pics but I wouldn't share them. Random people could take them in a creepy way, and if you're in a white collar job it could pose trouble for you in the future.

I posted one photo a close-up of my face in a very Marilyn Monroe pose, it's tame. I wouldn't share any others on the internet though kind of loses it "special-ness" if you show too much, IMO

Like pp have aid, I would be extremely hesitant to share any pics from a boudoir shoot on social media. Once something is out on the internet, it is very hard to track who has saved it, reposted it, etc. It is not unusual for employers to do online searches of potential employees when hiring, and no matter how “tame” a photo might seem, it is not something you’d want to potentially interfere with your professional life. If you feel like you absolutely need to show someone besides your husband a few photos, show a trusted female friend.
