Those having a ceremony and reception in different places, how are you wording your invites?

FutureMrsPrada, on November 27, 2014 at 1:11 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I've actually noticed most pre-written invites (ordering from wedding paper diva) includes the time/address/location of the ceremony and then states "reception to follow" (*insert meme* you don't say!!) so where would you include the receptions info?!?!? Argh please help

The invitation is always for the ceremony. Reception info, if it is at different place from the ceremony, usually is detailed on a separate card within the invitation package.

When you are ordering invitations, you should have the option to include inserts.

^ This (invitation is always for ceremony)

You need to include an enclosure card with information about the reception (sometimes called a reception card)
