Things to do after a destination elopement

Jimmy, on August 6, 2020 at 9:33 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8

Hello everyone. I was wondering: What are some fun, and romantic things to do after an elopement? We are possibly doing an early morning (9am) beach destination elopement, just the two of us. I always though we'd get married later in the day but I like see the opportunity in every situation. Given the time...what are some good ideas?

I would say depending on where yo you why not go for brunch afterwards and then go around and see the town?

You could go to brunch afterwards for mimosas and food! You could also plan a day's worth of adventures (ziplining, hiking, swimming, etc), or do a picnic at the beach for lunch. Visit local shops, look for seashells on the beach, touristy activities in the area, etc.

I love Lisa‘s ideas! I’m sure there’s some fun activities locally around you could do or even a relaxing spa day

At one point we considered getting married abroad and I thought if we did the day time then I would do brunch afterwards like a celebratory meal (maybe even get a cake to cut) and then book an excursion and then you can do night on the town with a romantic dinner. Smiley smile

I would think a meal all dolled up would be fabulous! Mimosa breakfast if you’re getting married early, or a private beach dinner if late afternoon/evening.

We are doing a DW sunrise ceremony followed with a brunch reception. Our family and friends will be there but after the brunch we are doing some relaxing time by the beach and during our week long stay we are going on a fishing charter and taking advantage of all our resort amenities.
