Thanks again ladies. We'd started planning for 90 guests at a banquet hall that would be nice but I was very "meh" about it. It seemed very stressful and costs were climbing. THIS idea actually has me excited! I'd minimalize everything to be able to do this, simple dress, no bridal party, just my 1 small bouquet, etc. Now to convince my FH. He's the whimsical fun one so it shouldn't be too hard. He just doesn't want to disappoint his extended family that want to attend our wedding.

When I saw the title of this post, I was skeptical, but what you have planned sounds fantastic! I'd love going to a wedding like this! I say go for it.

All of those things sounded super fun.. I dont know if this is useful to you or not but if you stay in the hard rock, or any hotels affiliated with the park you can get in an hour earlier than the public..

I think your plan sounds great! still well hosted but with optional fun guests can partake in at their own expense if they choose. This seems much like any DW. Go for it! If I were invited to this wedding i would gladly come up with the hotel costs, travel, etc.

Id love to do this if my guest list was smaller. So awesome.

@Chelsea Thank you that is helpful. I'm sure the timeline will need to get figured out at some point but this is good to know! As well thank you to the prior poster that detailed the HR has a ferry that takes you to the parks and CW, I thought I read something about that skimming through the brochure.

@Matt Haha, no child's birthday party here for the wedding. Now at the park, I cannot guarantee a large group of oversized, excited children will not show up! ; )
