The train & reception

Sheri, on May 6, 2017 at 4:14 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

What do I do if the train is NOT detachable during the reception? If i find that to be the case is the only choice I have to buy a reception dress? I want a long train so getting a dress with NO train is NOT an option

Please keep in mind when you post so many threads people will start to get frustrated with it. You have at least 3 threads on the first page all about dresses.

It could all be in the same thread.

As for the train of a dress, usually it is not detachable - you get it bustled.

Bustle or attach a wristlet so you can hold it up

You normally bustle your train it's very rare to have a detachable one.

Ps- Linds G is in the right with her post she's just trying to help you become a better poster. Its frustrating for other people when we see multiple threads from the same person before we get to anyone else. She's not trying to be mean, she's giving you advice because like you said, this an advice forum!

Linds is right! Seriously, you could have posted once instead of clogging up the first page with the same shit. It gets old real quick.

Giving attitude is not the way to get responses either.

You had 2 posts about this exact same question last night. Put everything in one post.

It's easier for you to keep track of. Instead of abandoning posts where people are asking you questions.

It's tempting to make all the posts when you're new on WW. But spacing them out is one of the ways we're considerate to other community members. Every once in a while someone needs a reminder. It's not a big deal. @Linds was really polite. No need to throw a fit.

I believe the norm here is to have one thread per day, so that the forums aren't clogged.

PPs are right - you could have easily addressed all of these dress questions in one post. It's frustrating for others to see multiple threads of the same topic pop up on the first page, especially when you haven't even answered questions in your other threads.

I get what you mean. Im having a DW too. We didn't do 6/23 because of a huge festival on the island and the traffic that would cause. Couldn't do it any earlier due to our jobs so here we are. I'm happy though. Totally in love with our date!
