The night before the wedding

Chrisheena, on November 4, 2019 at 6:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 9
Ok so question I haven't figured out how to work this out. Our venue is literally 10 minutes away from us. Idk how to manage staying home or over one of my bridesmaids house. My fh was saying he's gonna get a hotel room for the groomsman to get dressed in. I'm stuck on stupid on what to. The venue has a room for us to get dressed in but in my opinion it looks alil cramped. I kno for sure I'm getting dressed at the venue. But I need advice on this situation

My fiance and I were just talking about that. Is your fiance going to get dressed with the groomsmen at the hotel? If so, let your girls get dressed at your home & you get dressed at the venue. My girls are getting ready in my hotel, while I get dressed at the venue, but getting hair/makeup done in my room. Guys will be at home with him (lord i hope they won't be late).

    Congratulations

I would book a hotel suite but consider talking to your bridesmaids about splitting it and then all your girls have a place to stay as well so everyone is one place the day of the wedding. A few factors to consider, if your photographer will be with you all day you won't have to worry about cleaning your house or anyone breaking anything with having a bunch of people in one space. This will also provide a space for you and your groom to stay the night of the wedding if you haven't made any other plans yet!

This is also a great idea! Airbnb owners might be more open to an earlier check in as well compared to hotels!

My venue is about 45 minutes from our house and 10 minutes from my moms. FH is staying home and meeting all of his groomsmen at one of their hotel rooms to get dressed on the day of. I am staying at my moms and having all of my girls meet me there the morning of except my MOH and FG (who is my best friend and god child) who will be staying at my moms with me. I think you can have the girls come to your house on that day and then commute to the venue.

If your FH is getting a hotel room why can't he stay there the night before and you stay at your house? Then a bridesmaid can pick you up in the morning to go get ready in the room at the venue that's provided.

Well we have a big house so its enough room but the venue is only 10 minutes away. I feel comfortable in my own home to be honest I'd rather for him to go
