The moment you realize how lucky/blessed you are

Hi all,
It’s about 5:30 AM our time, we just woke up for the day. My fiancé is getting ready for work and I am still laying in bed, about to get up to make him breakfast. I woke up at about 5:10 today, 5 minutes before our alarm went off, and I had the most amazing 5 minutes. It’s about 60 degrees and windy outside, so a little chilly. We had the window slightly cracked open so a breeze was coming in. We had a thick blanket on top of our summer sheets. My fiancé was cuddling me and I was the little spoon. One of our cats was cuddling with us, the other two were sitting quietly somewhere else in the room. It was a perfect moment, and with all the stress of planning a wedding, starting grad school, and having surgery a couple of weeks ago, it was exactly what I needed to remember how blessed I am to have this amazing guy in my life forever and how wonderful our little family of five (us and three cats) truly is.
