The knot wedding website

Ariel, on May 17, 2017 at 5:25 PM Posted in Planning 0 12

Is anyone else using the knot for their wedding website? Also for rsvp's online? I'm confused on how I should add kids to it. Should I add all the kids names under their parent's party, or add a + #of kids? I should have thought twice in having kids at the wedding. One person called and asked if he can bring his 4 kids. Omg!! I was not aware that he had 4, I put him down for +1.

We are adding each person's name, including the handful of children we are inviting.

Using both, and we are doing kids under their parents. But we only have one kid per family for most of them- put the online settings as they're only able to rsvp if they find their name--since you can opt to turn that off

We used the knot for our website but not RSVP's. I preferred to make my own spreadsheet to track adults, kids and meal choices.

We're using the knot wedding website and RSVP. WE're not having kids but we have families. I listed one person as the party "owner" (I can't remember the term) and added people to their party. You can do the same or something similar for kids. It's important to list names if you're providing meal options.

WWLynnie is a true pro. I can tell because I wanted to say "Now why the fuck wouldn't you ask this on The Knot?" but she was actually helpful.

I am using it. If you download their guest list template, it allows you to group people into parties. I chose the dad/husband as the party name, then put everyone in the family under his party.

I tried to create a weddingwire one, but it wasn't working when I tried.

I'm sticking to this one, I liked the options I have on this website better, and it seems more useful in my opinion and easier to use.
