I got a call recently from my mom back in Washington state. She was super stressed out. She told me that apparently while me and my other half were moving out of the house, the cats got stressed out, and decided to urinate on my wedding dress, which was hanging on the back of a door.

Luckily, it was in a garment bag and only 2 little tiny spots actually got on the dress and she said she got them out, but seriously cats? couldn't you have found anything else to take revenge on?

I watch Cats from Hell a lot so here's my Jackson Galaxy diagnosis. The cats are stressed due to the move and they also may feel like they don't have a space of their own in the new house. They also may not be getting enough activity.

    This topic disturbs me.

I am sorry for what happened to your dress, that is definitely frustrating! I'm sure taking it to the dry cleaners would ensure those spots are absolutely gone. Smiley smile

As for everyone else, I've had cats my entire life and they have never done anything to me out of spite. Animals don't function on the same human emotions. They were simply stressed and happened to do so on your dress. As earlier posters said, it was not revenge, and it was probably to mark territory, because they felt out of place and were trying to get a sense of control.

Frankly, to anyone who believes cats are vengeful, spiteful creatures, you've never had a real connection with one and honestly don't know what you're talking about.

I've had cats my whole life until college. Multiple cats. My mom currently has 5, one of which I gifted to her. I've only ever liked one cat. Cats are smelly little assholes. The only cat I will ever agree to live with will be declawed and know how to use the toilet. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
