Thanks everyone. I am doing my best to laugh it off and I'm pretty sure I deleted it before too many people saw it but its still disappointing. But not much I can do about it now and I know it was an accident. My FMIL is notorious for being awful with technology and thought only her and I could see it.

Oh nooooo that’s so sad. Glad to know it wasn’t done malicious and it was just an accident.
My family is also bad with technology so when we went dress shopping I said no pictures only with my phone. That was a way to avoid that or sharing it with other family members.
Like you said nothing you can do now and you won’t look the same the day off with your dress and all doll up so don’t worry.

Nooo! I'd be so mad! But it's sweet that she's excited. Maybe just have a talk with her that any photos she wants to post about your wedding needs to be approved by you

Apparently my mom almost did this. Thinking it was okay cause my FH isn’t on FB. Thankfully my aunt talked her out of it. Then she wanted to post all the NOT THE DRESS photos. And was mad when I said no.

Sorry this happened to you. It will still be magical when he sees you. In three months, he won’t remember anything he saw in a quick glance. It’s a magical day and the emotions will still be running high. This won’t ruin it.

OMGSHHH I read your original post and I just sat here with my jaw dropped for like 5 minutes. I'm glad to hear at least it was an honest mistake (albeit a big one) and not done out of maliciousness

I'm sure even if your FH did see, he will still be stunned on your day with how beautiful you will look

My future MIL thought the dress I wore in the picture I posted of me holding the sign when I "said yes" was my wedding dress...it's a peach floral. I mean I am having a beach wedding but no. 😂🤦‍♀️

This happened to my friend the day of her wedding. Her mother in law posted a picture of her in her dress about an hour before the ceremony. I think the MOH either went over to the boys and asked them to stay off Facebook or asked MIL to take it down
