This is a rant. I don't normally buy bras at VS, but I got a gift card for Christmas. I went and was fitted as a 34C. They were comfortable in the store, but once I got home and moved around, I couldn't get the straps to stay. So I went back and the next salesperson fit me as a 32DD (WTF!). The bra...

The bra provided great coverage and the straps were comfortable. Went home and moved around and the wire was just DIGGING into me. Went back a third flipping time and the next salesperson fit me in a 34B. When I objected, she insisted it was the right size.

I finally asked to speak to the manager to explain my frustration. The manager insisted on fitting me and fit me as a 32D. I tried on 6 different bras and none of them fit me... Finally she admitted that maybe VS bras just don't fit me.

So yup, now after 3 trips and 3 hours, I know that I either wear a 34B, 34C, 32D or 32DD. And I still don't have new bras.

Vs is finally carrying my size in store more over the last couple years (32c) but they're quality has started to leave so much to be desired. The edges of the cups curl out and show through all my tops. I've started looking for it before purchasing and because if that I haven't bought a bra there in probably a year

I had a special bra fitted to me there that I spent a TON of money on. I came home, wore it once and the straps broke that day. I took it back and they said they couldn't fix it and since I had to have it customized I couldn't get my money back. I will NEVER shop there again

I've never really been a fan of VS. their bras aren't even good quality. One I had, the bra strap broke within a year of owning it. I've had one from Walmart that's lasted a really long time, lol.

Ugh... that's truly horrible. I used to work at victoria's secret and there is absolutely no assessments on the way associates fit people. The problem is how much leverage they put into the measurement itself. They can pull too tight or too loose. The way I learned was you leave 1/2 inch of extra space on the actual bust measurement, making sure the measuring tape was flush with the skin. Some people don't pull tight enough on the over-bust measurement... it is supposed to be just above where the breast tissue starts, snug but able to fit two fingers underneath. It's so horrible that they were so inconsistent. Digging generally means too small. If the straps were falling off the 34c you could try tightening the straps or criss crossing them in the back...I have had customers that had the cups and band fit perfectly and the straps slipped off.. when they tried criss crossing or adjusting, it was perfect. I worked there for 5 years, and I have seen all sorts of situations like this. Perhaps you could visit a different VS location? Hope this was helpful.

I've always hated VS bras. Everytime I've purchased them within a week the bras would be broken or worn out especially for the price. Its kinda sad that a piece of clothing that covers our tatas its usually over $50.

I second the Aerie (American Eagle) suggestion. The Sunnie push-up bra is literally the BEST I have ever owned. It is soooooo soft yet supportive (has underwire). It is literally the only bra I've owned that I don't feel like I have to immediately take off whenever I get home.

That place is good for everything besides bras if you are over a certain size (32G). I would try Macy's for good bra sizing and comfortable bra

I used to be a Vicki's girl, I worked there for 5 years and loved my store. The management staff invested a lot of time into training bra fitting and customer service.

After I left the company and moved I gained a significant amount of weight over a short period of time and went to a different store to buy new bras... the ladies there were awful, and had no clue what they were doing. I knew from the way she was trying to fit me that she had no idea!!

Soma is a life changer for bras for me!

I'm glad the cashier was an idiot and you don't have to go back there!

Omg! This is crazy I went there yesterday to get a "good bra" for my wedding dress. I tried on three bras different styles and sizes. I was like omg this is crazy but I can say the sales associate was real nice and really helped me out. My dress is a sweetheart neckline so I needed a strapless bra. So I had to get the sticky tape one. Was a little like is this going to work but she said it would so we will see

Oh god i hate vs. Try going to torrid or lane bryant, they tend to have a better sense of the range of women's bodies.

I'm an outlier because I actually love the way specific VS bras fit! I won't let them fit me though. They always try to fit me into a 36 band, and that's way too big on me. I'm incredibly hard to fit for a bra for some reason. I need a demi or balconette cup, and I have never found one at kohls or a department store. I have had luck with naja recently, but their bras are all final sale so I am nervous to order more.

I also prefer Aerie as they are guaranteed for 6 months. So if the wire comes out or something happens to it they'll replace it. And their sales and coupons are great. FH finds their stuff to be more sexy too..

You do know all Bras have sister sizes..... So if you are in a 34c you can wear a 32D. And with all the different styles they have you just have to try on an move around. I have a few VS bras but I wear my Belk, TJMaxx etc a lot more than VS. I actually have the same bra from there in 2 different colors and I only wear the 1 because it's more comfortable I gave the other away.

I hate VS actually. My go to store is Fredericks of Hollywood I think that's the name. I love the bras. Personally just like their style better as well.

I bought one of their super-expensive sports bras for extra support since I wear DD/DDD, but a few months after I bought it, the zipper broke and the straps started to rip. I was so annoyed and am definitely over VS bras.
