Tented Reception, tacky or nice?

I sure hope so, I'm dropping a LARGE sum of money on a tented reception for people to think its tacky would it be a venue with a permanent tent, or are you renting the tent yourself?

I've never been to a tented reception so I think it would be nice.

A tented rustic reception will look amazing! Even a tented wedding would not look tacky if done properly.

The place has them there for you to use which is included in the price. I've never been to one that's been tented either, so I'm not sure how it would end up!

I think it can be done nicely.

I've got a million inspiration pictures, because i'm farther along, I think they look really really nice and fit the theme/feel perfectly. Google some, and check out what can be done with draping, tent liners, etc..

My reception will be under a tent. Maybe I'm biased but I don't think it's tacky.

My friends had exactly this at their wedding. It was on a family farm and they had very rustic everything with a tent and wooden dance floor under another tent. It was beautiful and the lighting in the tent looked great at night.

Mine's 4K, so at least we know it's not cheap.

Most of the weddings I've been to were tented, so much so that a room doesn't feel like a wedding to me.

I've been to a few and thought they were lovely. Definitely not tacky.

Nope not tacky at all. I've seen both formal and casual weddings beautifully done in a tent.

Nice. My best friend had her wedding at an orchard/vinyard last summer and the ceremony was out under an oak tree and then the reception was under a large tented wooden dance floor area. It was so beautiful! With some lights and some paper lanterns it was very rustic/vintage sort of feel.

Not tacky one bit. If you decorate it right people won't even notice.

I don't think it's tacky but I'm also having a tent for our reception. I think tented receptions are much more common these days.
