Tell me about your experience with you wedding venue.

Hello beauties,

Was just hoping to hear about your special days and any advice you can offer to someone that has basically no experience in wedding planning. Looking for a romantic, rustic, nature feel and am hoping you may help. Thank you in advance.

What we first did was decide our budget, figure out an estimate on how many guests we would invite, decide on potential wedding dates and decide on a theme/color/vibe. Then we researched venues online that we liked and scheduled tours. You can’t really book other vendors until you have your date and venue so that’s a good place to start.

You will have to set a date first bc most venues will ask you when your wedding is taking place. We checked around for venues and I went on online to see what venues looked like and what they have to offer. You can set a date to take a tour of the venue and you can ask questions about everything (staff, food, cost, packages etc). Also, the days of the week affects your budget too.. I learned that through the week, it is cheaper especially Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Saturday weddings are the most expensive bc it is the most common day to have a wedding.

Thank you Alisha. We definitely neem to set a date. We were thinking next year October 16, 2021. I have found that due to the cancelling of a lot of weddings this year, next year is already very booked up as people had to cancel or postpone. A tour I agree must need to happen to get a feel of the venue. I'm almost considering doing it at my fiancés camp as I just found the price is very high for even just a venue. I'll keep shopping around and thanks again.
